From Jul. 10^th to 13^th, led by Qian Jianmin, Vice Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, Shaoxing delegation visited UN-HABITAT, met with Mr. Daniel, head of regional technological cooperation department of UN- Habitat.

 

Qian Jianmin introduced Shaoxing’s economic and social development, and efforts on ancient city protection, water environment rectification, and winning Habitat Scroll of Honour Awards. And he also made deep discussion with Mr. Daniel on collectively saving and utilizing lands, energy saving and discharge reducing, environmental protection and urban traffic evacuation. Mr. Daniel gave high appraisal on Shaoxing’s works on economic and social development, ancient city protection, and human environment, and hoped Shaoxing could make more efforts on building the environment with nature and human beings living in harmony.
